Natural High 5 K Run

The Natural High 5K run is SLIDDE’s annual fundraiser that makes it possible for our organization to carry out alcohol and drug education and prevention. Our message is to enjoy all of life’s “Natural Highs,” such as running, in place of the highs gained from alcohol and drugs. The UL Lafayette campus community, as well as the community at large, comes out race day to support our efforts. Although SLIDDE puts on the race, students carry out the race day events. ALL proceeds from the run are utilized by SLIDDE to carry out our mission of providing education and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse to UL Lafayette students, faculty, and staff.
