Counseling

Counseling is a process where someone asks for help due to problems of emotional nature from a professional who is trained in counseling. The professional will try to help the person seeking therapy to cope with the problem, and to mature and learn more about himself or herself.

As a UL Lafayette student, faculty, or staff, counseling services are available to you FREE of charge at the Counseling & Testing Center.

We have also partnered with UWill, a free virtual service for students, ithat s available 24 hours a day, every day, and offers on-demand access to resources, counseling sessions and a crisis line that allows students to speak immediately with a mental health professional. To get started, visit uwill.com and create an account with your UL email address.
